Privacy, in plain sight.

Tiny Computers is a small, mostly offline app. Your little desktops are yours to play with; their contents are saved on your device.

What the app stores

The app saves your computer selection, sound and haptic preferences, miniature desktop documents, drawings, supported game progress and medals locally on your device. The app does not require an account. Tiny Computers does not operate a server that receives these saved desktops or their contents.

Your device's backup settings may include app data in an Apple backup. You control those backups through your device and Apple account settings.

Usage analytics

With your choice, Tiny Computers sends selected events to PostHog in its US Cloud region. These events tell us when the app opens, which collection cards and miniature computers people view, whether a computer was used on a physical iPhone Duo or through the Duo model on an iPad or another iPhone, which built-in app was brought forward, and whether someone opens Settings or a historical source link. Events also include the app version, time and a random identifier stored by the app so we can understand repeat visits. PostHog receives the network information needed to deliver an event, including an IP address; we disable geographic enrichment in the event data.

We do not send your name, email address, typed keys, notes, drawings, saved desktop contents, screenshots or session recordings. We do not identify you in PostHog, combine these events with advertising data or use them for personalized ads. Analytics is off until you choose “Share usage” in the collection. You can turn it off later in collection Settings under “Share usage analytics.” Turning it off stops future events and deletes the app's pending events and local analytics identifier; it does not erase events already delivered to PostHog. You can contact us about privacy requests at the address below.

PostHog processes this analytics data for us. See PostHog's privacy policy.

Purchases

If you buy Tiny Computers through the App Store, Apple handles payment and transaction processing. If an in-app purchase is offered, the app uses Apple's StoreKit to check its purchase status and restore access. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple's handling of App Store data is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Links and the pretend internet

Web pages inside the miniature computers are part of the app's local simulation; they do not browse the live web. The collection also contains optional links to real historical sources. If you choose one, its website opens outside Tiny Computers and that site's own privacy practices apply.

Launch email sign-up

If you sign up to hear when Tiny Computers launches, Fountain Interactive Ltd collects your email address through a Google Form. We use it only to send you Tiny Computers launch information, such as a link to the app when it becomes available. We will not use it for other marketing, add it to any other mailing list, or sell or share it.

We delete the collected email addresses after we send the launch email. Signing up is optional and based on your consent. You can ask us to remove your address before then by emailing the address below.

Google hosts the form and stores responses for us. Google may also process information about your visit to the form, such as your IP address and browser details, and if you are signed in to a Google account, Google handles that sign-in. See Google's privacy policy.

If you email support

When you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to send. We use it to answer your question and handle related follow-up. We do not use support messages for advertising. You can ask us to delete a support conversation by emailing the address below.

About this website

This Tiny Computers website is made of static pages and images. Its pages do not set cookies or load analytics or advertising scripts. The web host may process ordinary request information, such as an IP address and requested page, to deliver and secure the site. The launch email sign-up opens on Google Forms, which is covered in the section above. Any other link to another website leaves this policy.

Changes and contact

We will update this page if the app's data practices change, and show the revised date here. For privacy questions, launch sign-up removal, or requests about information sent to support, email us.
