What we collect

Nothing. The app has no accounts or sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It doesn't connect to any server of ours, and there is no third-party code in it that sends information anywhere. Because nothing is collected, nothing is shared with or sold to any third party.

Your paintings

Paintings are saved on your device only, inside the app, and are never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes them. Your device's backups (iCloud or a computer) may include them along with other app data; Apple handles those backups under your Apple Account settings.

The app also remembers a few settings on the device, such as whether the first-time hints have been shown and whether sounds are on. These never leave the device.

Sharing

The Share button makes a picture of a painting and opens Apple's standard share sheet, where you choose where it goes. The app doesn't see or keep anything about where you send it. In the app, sharing is behind a grown-ups check.

Purchases

The Sparkle Pack is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment, and the app uses Apple's StoreKit only to check that your Apple Account owns the Sparkle Pack so it can be unlocked or restored. We never see your name, email or payment details. Buying is behind a grown-ups check. Apple's handling of App Store data is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Children

Fold & Squish is made for children as well as adults. Because it doesn't collect personal information from anyone, it doesn't collect it from children under 13 either. This is in line with the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and UK and EU rules on children's data. There are no links out of the app to other websites.

If you email support

When you email us, we receive the address and whatever you choose to send. We use it only to answer you and handle any follow-up, and we never use it for advertising. You can ask us to delete a support conversation at any time.

About this website

This website is made of static pages and images. It doesn't set cookies or load analytics or advertising scripts. The web host may process ordinary request information, such as an IP address and the page requested, to deliver and secure the site. A link to another website leaves this policy.
